By Samantha Blackwell

The International Association of Independent Journalists have submitted a written statement to the 59th Session of the Commission for Social Development on October 28 (2020) in support of our ongoing initiative for a worldwide popular vote through smartphones at the United Nations. The reason for this initiative is to aid in policy making by ascertaining global popular sentiments to issues of global importance to all. If any member is interested in reading the statement, just email us through the usual channels with your name and membership number and we will email you back the full contents of the statement.
