Maurice Ali (IAIJ) to speak at United Nations!

Maurice Ali, President of the International Association of Independent Journalists Inc. has accepted an invitation to be a speaker during the UN General Assembly informal interactive consultations on WSIS+10. From the invitation email:
“The hearings are organized by the President of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly. The arrangements are supported by UN DESA, ITU, UNCTAD, UNESCO and UN-NGLS. These hearings will provide an opportunity for representatives of the different stakeholders to exchange views on the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society.”
The event will take place on July 2 (2015) at the United Nations in New York. All operations at IAIJ will remain the same except for contact to Maurice during the event which will be handled by me or any of the other directors through the usual channels.
