PKR Received Death Threat!

Malaysia - August 24, 2012 - JOHOR BAHRU: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Johor State Election Committee Coordinator, Ravinthran Balah received a death threat call last night. Ravinthran, while busy preparing for the coming Sunday PKR Walkabout at Johor Bahru Parliamentary Seat Area, received a voice mail at about 11.00 p.m. threatening to “kill” him if he is to walkabout at Johor Bahru.
Ravinthran, accompanied by PKR Deputy Secretary General cum Johor State Election Director, Steven Choong, Johor Vice Chairman, Liew Voon Chew, Johor State Election Committee Secretary, Willham Siau, and other party officers, lodged a police report at Tampoi Police Station this morning.
Steven Choong condemned such an uncivilized conduct and hoped that the Police will solve the matter soon. He also urged the Home Minister to look seriously into the matter to ensure the safety of Ravinthran and the general public. |
