How to get sharp photos from your cell phone!

By Samantha Blackwell

We keep getting cell phone photos that are blurry when they need not be. You can keep the images as sharp p as ever with a few simply tricks.

1. Wipe the lens before you shoot. Simple thing but we forget that phone rubs up against all sorts of grease stuff and causes blurred or haloed shots.

2. Hold the cell phone as motionless as you can. Often pressing the button or taping the screen to take the shot will blur the image. Try to keep the movement as little as possible. This gets worse under bad lighting where the shutter is open longer. You must hold the phone motionless to get a sharp photo.

3. Use image stabilization in your phone if you have it. You can see if you have this in the settings of the camera application. If you have it make sure it is enabled.

Hope fully these simple tricks will help you get sharper images if you have to use your cell phone.
