The World Naked Bike Ride - Part 2

Hyde Park, London, England - Fortunately a barmy evening for getting naked as a small group of cyclists gathered at Speakers Corner to cycle round the park for the Worlds Naked Bike ride. This was not a a hugely advertised event there were no officials and the spectators outnumbered the participants.

To the sound of a whistle and with an escort of police cyclists the riders set off a few stragglers at the back were not brave enough to take their clothes off .



On my way out of the park on of the policemen kindly asked me if I knew what was going on no doubt to save my blushes as the riders pedalled past shouting "Get your clothes off".



This was a very low key affair there were no posters or people giving out leaflets and the only way I knew about it was that it was on the travel report on the local radio . According to the website this was about environmental issues and the freedom of people to go naked in public which they did in a very coy manner.
