Getting Ready For Another Issue Of The Fortress Newspaper!

The IAIJ Corporation in conjunction with FOF Inc. is getting ready to issue another Fortress Newspaper! The bulk of this newspaper is already set but we will still include any other stories any of you wish to submit. We plan to print and distribute the paper in November, so please do not delay.



My first newpaper as editor!

The Fortress is a university newspaper currently run out of York University. The usual circulation is 6, 000 copies distributed to Ontario universities. Our last issue was in April/May of this year and we gear up for production when school returns in September.



Our lastest issue in April/May of 2007!

This issue will be different in that we are now using Quark Express (industry standard) instead of Maurice's old Corel program. We will continue with our usual themes and our updates on our continuing survey on access to the mass media, who made the grade and who failed to live up to their broadcast licenses. If the story is a good one, Maurice says we are free to sell the story to other newspapers - how cool is that! You will also see more poetry in the paper as I feel it gives the newpaper a more welcoming ambiance. Also, we plan to offer free advertising space to charitable organizations in our area, so don't hesitate to contact us at iaij@iaij.com. Once again, keep those submissions coming in!
